On Tuesday, Tonny Vilhena was sent home from the squad after testing positive for coronavirus.
Frank de Boer has now decided to call up 18-year-old Ajax talent Ryan Gravenberch, who has made the switch up from the U21’s.
Gravenberch has been a regular with Ajax this season, making six appearances in the Eredivisie and another three in the Champions League.
The midfielder will join up with the squad on Thursday and could make his Oranje debut in the Nations League games against Bosnia & Herzegovina or Poland.
It is time the Dutch try you talents. Good to see Gravenberch in the team, but will he get a chance to play? looking at the obsession with the to be retired players like Babel, I guess no..
