Sparta Rotterdam have confirmed the signing of free agent Danzell Gravenberch on a one-year deal.

The 26-year-old was a free agent after leaving Dordrecht and has been training with Sparta Rotterdam. The attacker has impressed the coaches enough to earn a one-year deal at Het Kasteel.

The older brother of Ajax star Ryan Gravenberch has previously played for Ajax, NEC and Reading among others. He joined Dordrecht in January and scored two goals in eight games.

Gravenberch is the fourth summer reinforcement of Sparta after Marouane Afaker, Lennart Thy and Michaël Heylen.
