Pelle has been linked with a number of clubs over recent months including Chelsea and Barcelona, but now there is a new club joining the race.
According to IlSussidiario, Lazio are searching for a replacement for Miroslav Klose, and have sent their scouts to check on the Feyenoord hit-man.
The 28 year old has been in great form this season, netting 10 league goals in 11 games, building on his 27 goals in 29 games last year.
However Lazio will have their work cut out to convince Feyenoord to let their star player leave on the club only six months after they signed him permanently from Parma.
Pelle signed a contract until 2017 in the summer, and has just been made Feyenoord’s captain, so a bid above €10 million will be required for Lazio to have any chance of getting their man.
With the World Cup next summer, Pelle may fancy a move back to the Serie A to give him a chance of making the Italian squad, with Cesare Prandelli unlikely to call him up while he still plays for Feyenoord.
