John van ‘t Schip is a candidate to be named the new head coach of the Greek national team.

The Greek football federation are looking for a new head coach after the departure of Angelos Anastasiadis last week.

According to Voetbal International, John van ‘t Schip has emerged as a serious candidate for the position.

The 55-year-old has been out of work since leaving PEC Zwolle in December last year. Before that, van ‘s Schip coached FC Twente, Melbourne Heart, and Melbourne City. He also worked as an assistant with the Dutch national team.
