Filip Kostic netted a brilliant injury time winner to give Groningen a 2-1 win over relegation threatened NAC Breda.

Ten minutes into the second half Groningen were awarded a penalty for a foul on Filip Kostic, and Nick van der Velden made no mistake from the spot to make it 1-1.

NAC pushed for an equaliser and they found it on 72 minutes as Perica controlled a cross into the box on his chest before sliding the ball past Marco Bizot.

The game seemed to be heading for a draw but deep into injury time Filip Kostic skipped past a number of defenders before sending a fizzing drive into the bottom corner to win the game for the home side.

The three points mean Groningen are all but assured of a place in the play-offs for European football at the end of the season, while NAC are still only four points above the bottom three.
