FC Groningen has confirmed the signing of Willem II full back Damil Dankerlui.

Groningen are preparing for Deyovaisio Zeefuik to possibly leave the club with Stade Rennes, Southampton and Hertha Berlin all interested in the right-back.

Dankerlui has signed from Willem II on a deal until 2024. The fee for the 23-year-old is not known.

After coming through the Ajax academy, Dankerlui made the move to Willem II in 2018. He made 65 appearances for the club, scoring five goals, and adding eleven assists.
