Nothing could separate Groningen and Heracles on Saturday night with the game at the Euroborg finishing 0-0.

Groningen went into the game on the back of last weeks 5-1 hammering of Utrecht but looked a shadow of that side as they struggled to create a single chance in a drab and dull first half.
The hosts took more risks in the second half but that opened up more space for Heracles, who had an excellent chance on 56 minutes when Peter van Ooijen raced through on goal, but the midfielder couldnt beat Sergio Padt.
In the last fifteen minutes, Groningen finally started to create chances but both Bryan Linssen and Oussama Idrissi couldn’t break the deadlock as the game fizzled out.
Both clubs now have six points with Heracles in eleventh and Groningen one place behind.
