According to Voetbal International, Groningen are hoping to loan their former striker Richairo Zivkovic.

The 23-year-old joined Sheffield United on loan from Changchun Yatai in January, but the Premier League side are not looking to make the move permanent this summer.

According to Voetbal International, Groningen are hoping that the striker will return to the club this summer. They cannot financially afford to sign the striker permanently, but are hoping to agree a loan deal.

Zivkovic made his debut for Groningen as a 16-year-old before moving to Ajax and then ended up in China via Willem II, FC Utrecht and KV Oostende.

Groningen are lacking a striker after Kaj Sierhuis left in January, while Daishawn Redan has returned to Hertha Berlin after a loan move.

At Changchun Yatai, Zivkovic scored 17 goals in 25 games and its unclear whether the club are interested in letting him leave on loan again.
