FC Groningen have completed the signing of Bosnian defender Samir Memisevic on a three-year deal.

The 22-year-old centre-back, who can also play in midfield, signs from Bosnia & Herzegovina side FK Radnik Bijeljina, where he made 49 league appearances, scoring three goals.
Speaking to the clubs official site, Groningen technical director Peter Jeltema said on his new signing. “Samir has a healthy commitment and drive. He has a good functional technique, he is eager and developable. Groningen has to be a stepping stone in his career for him. ”
Memisevic started his career with Slaven Zivince before spells with Teleoptik Zemun, FK Bezanija, and Teleoptik Zemun before joining Radnik Bijelijna in 2014. He has one cap for the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team.
