Visitors Cambuur stunned the home crowd in the fifteen minutes with Sander van de Streek playing a one-two with Bartholomew Ogbeche before slotting past Martin Hansen.
However the home side turned the game around in the second half, with Mike Havenaar heading in Wilfried Kanon’s cross in the 53rd minute to equalise. The Japanese forward then fired ADO Den Haag ahead moments later after Edouard Duplan’s effort came back off the post.
Cambuur pushed forward looking for an equaliser, but Ogbeche and Martijn Barto wasted good chances and in the end ADO Den Haag held on. The win puts Henk Fraser’s side 11th, while Cambuur remain second bottom.
