The Scotsman is reporting that Hearts are hoping to seal a permanent transfer for the 26-year-old and are locked in talks with Go Ahead Eagles, who are willing to sell.

The former Utrecht and Almere City forward joined Go Ahead Eagles in 2015 and has scored 30 goals in 73 appearances for the Eerste Divisie side.

However, De Kogel’s contract expires in the summer and after only two goals this season, Go Ahead Eagles are willing to sell this month, rather than losing him on a free in the summer.
