The Malmo born keeper, who has represented Trelleborgs, and Bodø/Glimt in his career, as well as an unsuccessful loan period with Celtic, briefly trained with the Frisians last November.
Speaking to De Telegraaf this is what technical manager Hans Vonk said, “We’re very busy with it and hope to soon conclude an agreement with him,”
The newspaper also adds that Noring was last week close to joining Napoli as a back up to Pepe Reina, but the Serie A club instead went for the 33 year old Doblas Santana making the Eredivisie club an option once again.
The Swedish International has made 93 appearances for all his clubs keeping 22 clean sheets in the process, and will act as back up to Kristoffer Nordfeldt if a deal is concluded.
