The 21-year-old arrives from Norwegian side Valerenga and signs a four-year deal in Friesland.
Ejuke made 69 appearances for Valerenga, scoring 15 goals and adding six assists. He was linked with Lazio, but a switch to Italy never materialised and instead he heads to the Eredivisie.
Heerenveen technical director Gerry Hamstra told the club’s website, “We are proud that Chidera has chosen us. We have been following him for some time and know his qualities. With Chidera we brought in a player for whom the people come to the stadium. With his speed, dribbling and scoring ability, he fits in perfectly with SC Heerenveen.”
Ejuke is Heerenveen’s third signing of the summer after Hicham Faik and Jens Odgaard.
