Heerenveen needed a 93rd-minute equaliser to snatch a point at home to Heracles Almelo.

After the win over Ajax last weekend, Heracles headed to Friesland full of confidence and at the end of the first half they took the lead with Robin Propper firing in a corner kick.

Kristoffer Peterson was denied by Wouter van der Steen at the start of the second half as Heracles threatened a second and the goalkeeper then tipped a Paul Gladon effort onto the crossbar.

Reza Ghoochannejhad wasted a fantastic chance to equalise for Heerenveen on the hour mark before Joost van Aken saw a goal ruled out for for a foul caused by Reza. It seemed that Heracles were going to hold onto the lead but in the 93rd minute, debutante Nemanja Mihajlovic headed in an equaliser to rescue the hosts a point.
