Henk de Jong has been announced as the new manager of De Graafschap.

De Jong succeeds Jan Vreman, who was relieved of his duties last Sunday. The 52-year-old has signed a contract until the summer of 2018 and will begin working in Doetinchem on January 1st.
De Jong has been without a club since February of this year when resigned as manager of Cambuur Leeuwarden who he helped them to win the Jupiler League in season 2012 / 2013.
De Graafschap who were relegated from the Eredivisie last season are currently in 16th place in the Jupiler League.
