Vitesse Arnhem manager Henk Fraser spoke to the NOS after their 2-1 win away to Ajax in Amsterdam.

He lauded the reaction of his team after a disappointing defeat to amateur side AVV Swift in the KNVB Cup midweek.
Fraser said, “This is a great result for us this afternoon considering what happened midweek. But it does not mean that the cup elimination is forgiven and forgotten. We must keep the two results separate.
“I compliment my team winning away against Ajax in Amsterdam after receiving relentless criticism having lost the KNVB Cup match against AVV Swift midweek. We must now turn our attention to the Europa League match against OGC Nice on Thursday,
“You must always compliment the opponent. AVV Swift were fantastic midweek as we were today ” .
“This result is a fantastic reaction to the KNVB Cup elimination midweek.”
