With only one point from their opening three games, Vitesse need a win on Thursday if they are to have any chance of reaching the knockout rounds.

Fraser said, ”We must remain realistic that chance is very small in reaching the Europa League knockout phase. But we must secure the victory against Zulte Waregem in order to keep that chance alive.

”We want to win a European home game in front of our own fans. It’s also important for the squad too.

”I believe that here in the Netherlands we are quite good in claiming that we are better than the opponent before the kick-off. We must remain modest.

Fraser also confirmed that Chelsea loanee Mason Mount will start after his impressive cameo against PSV at the weekend, ”Mason is going to play.He deserves his chance. Mason has earned his opportunity based on training. Also if you look ahead in terms of playing time against difficult opponents that we will face in the coming weeks ”.
