Navarone Foor scored the only goal of the game as Vitesse Arnhem earned a win at Heracles Almelo.

The home side started brightly with Brandley Kuwas causing Vitesse several issues in the early stages, but it was the visitors who took the lead just before the break. Robin Gosens failed to clear in the box and the ball landed with Milot Rashica, who set up Navarone Foor to curl a beautiful strike into the net.

Ten minutes into the second half, Reuven Niemeijer struck the post for Heracles, who were then reduced to ten men following Robin Propper’s second yellow card. Despite the man disadvantage Heracles still created chances and only a stunning save by Eloy Room denied Kristoffer Peterson the equaliser.

Kevin Diks was sent off late on but Vitesse held on for the three points which puts them in fifth place. Heracles stay ninth.
