ebecilio bAfter dominating the early period, Twente had a deserved lead on 17 minutes, when Rasmus Bengtsson headed a Quincy Promes cross into the net.

Twente’s Luc Castaignos should have made it 2-0, but with only the keeper to beat the striker dithered on the ball, and Jason Davidson made an excellent last ditch challenge.

After 59 minutes Heracles came close to an equaliser, when Mark Uth turned and smashed a shot against the top of the crossbar from just outside the box.

On 71 minutes, Twente netted their second, when Kyle Ebecilio headed in a Dusan Tadic corner, with the midfielder completely unmarked.

Minutes later, Rosales missed an open goal for Twente, before they were awarded a penalty, when Youness Mokhtar was tripped inside the box. Dusan Tadic fired in the spot kick to make it 3-0 to the away side.

The third goal sparked outrage in the Heracles crowd, and the game had to be halted for several minutes, as the home sides players attempted to calm the situation down.

Twente could have added more near the end, but settled for a 3-0 victory against a poor Heracles side, which moved the Enschede side temporarily up to 2nd in the table.
