Samuel Armenteros netted two late goals to earn Heracles Almelo a 2-2 draw against Roda JC.

The home side had the better of the first half but couldn’t break through the Roda JC wall with Robin Gosens and Thomas Bruns both passing up decent chances. Early in the second half, Brandley Kuwas hit the post as they continued to be frustrated.
Roda JC barely threatened but with a rare venture forward on 65 minutes they took the lead as Mitchell Paulissen’s shot deflecting past Bram Castro. Three minutes later it was 2-0 through Tom van Hyfte who found the bottom corner from just outside the box.
It should have been 3-0 but Dani Schahin messed up a great opportunity and Heracles made them pay. On 79 minutes, Samuel Armenteros pulled one back with a shot into the far corner and minutes before the end the striker nodded in from close range to rescue his side a point.
Heracles move to 10th with the point while Roda JC remain in 17th, but could go bottom if Go Ahead Eagles beat ADO Den Haag.
