Balil Basaçikoglu has returned to the Eredivisie, signing a two-year deal with Heracles Almelo with the option of a third.

The 26-year-old attacker’s contract with Gaziantep FK is expiring and he has decided to return to the Netherlands on a free transfer. He becomes Heracles Almelo’s first signing of the summer.
Basacikoglu told the club’s website, “Here I want to demonstrate again what I can do. If I can show the old Bilal, I am sure that I can mean a lot for Heracles Almelo. I know this is a warm club that gives players a chance. Hopefully we will make something beautiful out of it together.”
The winger previously played for SC Heerenveen and Feyenoord before making the move to Turkey with Kayserispor, Trabzonspor and then Gaziantep.
