Heracles ended their three-game winless run with a simple 3-0 victory over VVV Venlo in Almelo.

The hosts went into the game with two defeats and a draw in their last three games, but they took the lead on 36 minutes, through an excellent solo goal by Brandley Kuwas. The winger drove into the box before firing a strike into the net from a tight angle.

Four minutes later it was 2-0 and in almost identical circumstances with Kristoffer Peterson driving from the left wing before beating Lars Unnerstall with a low strike.

Twenty minutes from time, Heracles sealed the victory with their third goal. Kuwas took a shot from distance which Unnerstall could only parry into the path of Peterson who nodded in his second goal.

The win lifts Heracles to 11th, while VVV Venlo slip to 12th.
