Luca de la Torre scored in injury time to earn Heracles Almelo a 2-1 victory over PEC Zwolle.

Bert Konterman took charge of PEC Zwolle for the first time since he was put in temporary charge of the club. He saw how Heracles completely dominated the first-half but somehow failed to find the net.

Noah Fadiga did have the ball in the net for the hosts but his goal was ruled out by VAR for offside.

In the 61st minute, Heracles finally took the lead with Rai Vloet taking down a cross in the box before smashing the ball into the net. However, PEC Zwolle hit back immediately with Mustafa Saymak guiding the ball into the bottom corner.

Delano Burgzorg then had a goal ruled out for offside before Mike van Duinen had a shot cleared off the line at the other end.

It appeared the game was heading for a draw but in injury time, De la Torre headed into the net to seal a victory for the hosts.

The win means Heracles are 10th, while PEC Zwolle are 12th.
