Last season, the 21-year-old was one of the stand-out players in the Dutch second division. He signs a three-year contract with the Eredivisie side, with an option of a further year.

The right-winger scored 12 goals in 25 appearances in this campaign as Almere reached the Eerste Divisie promotion/relegation play-off final.

This signing is expected to be an eventual replacement for star player Brandley Kuwas, who has attracted interest from a number of European clubs.

Heracles have also signed goalkeeper Janis Blaswich, centre-back Maximillian Rossman and winger Zeki Erkilinc in preparation for August.

I'm a physics student from the UK and a massive Eredivisie fan. Started watching after being inspired by the Netherlands national team after the 2010 World Cup. Wilfred Bouma also has a big part to play in my initial keen interest in the league, being a Villa fan meant I wanted to keep track of my favourite player.
