The defending Premier League champions sacked Claudio Ranieri earlier this week with the club struggling down in 18th place and in real danger of relegation.

According to the Telegraph, their search for a new head coach has taken them to Guus Hiddink, and talks are believed to have already taken place with Leicester keen on a quick appointment. However, the same article suggests that the 70-year-old isn’t overly keen on the role and could turn it down.

Hiddink has been out of work since leaving an interim position with Chelsea last season. The former Netherlands boss has already been linked with Leicester City before but turned them down when Nigel Pearson was sacked in 2015.

Portuguese coach Vitor Pereira is also being linked with the job.
