According to De Telegraaf, German Bundesliga side Hoffenheim are hoping to sign Ajax striker Kasper Dolberg on loan.

The 21-year-old has struggled for form recently and was left out of the squad as Ajax defeated PAOK Salonika in midweek. Reports then followed that Ajax were open to letting the striker depart the club this summer.

According to De Telegraaf, several clubs have come with permanent offers which have been dismissed by Ajax.

The Amsterdam club still believe that Dolberg can fulfil his potential and only want to see him depart on loan. That could be to Hoffenheim, who are now coached by former Ajax assistant Alfred Schreuder.
