Keisuke Honda is training with his former club VVV Venlo as he looks to keep his fitness levels high.

The 33-year-old is currently without a club after leaving Australian side Melbourne Victory when his contract expired at the end of the season.

VVV Venlo have welcomed the Japanese international back to Limburg to train with the club as he looks to maintain fitness.

Honda spent two years with VVV Venlo between 2006 and 2008 before moving to CSKA Moscow. From there, Honda went to AC Milan, Pachuca and then Melbourne Victory last year.
