Ajax striker Klaas Jan Huntelaar has told Fox Sports that he is set to retire this summer.

The 37-year-old scored his 150th Eredivisie goal in the 4-0 win over PEC Zwolle on Saturday night and afterward spoke to Fox Sports.

Huntelaar said, ‘The last month I have been thinking about quitting more often. That moment is getting closer. I think this is my last season.”

The 37-year-old is out of contract at the end of this season and looks set to head into retirement.
