PSV Eindhoven have confirmed that Mohammed Ihatteren has penned a new deal with the club, extending his stay until 2022.

The 17-year-old attacking midfielder is a massive talent and already has six appearances for the PSV first-team under his belt.

Several top European clubs were circling the Netherlands U19 international, but he has now committed his future to PSV. Ihatteren’s current deal ran until 2021 but he has extended it by another year.

PSV technical manager John de Jong told the club’s website, “This is a wonderful moment for the PSV family. From youth training to the first team, we can all be proud of the way he manifests. Mo is developing very well, and that includes a new contract. We hope we can enjoy him for a long time. “
