The centre-back’s current deal with Lazio expires in the summer and he is yet to respond to the clubs first offer of renewal which is a four-year deal contract worth €2.5 million a year.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, De Vrij is stalling because of concrete interest from Serie A giants Inter Milan and Juventus. Inter reportedly want to seal a deal quickly with an offer of €3.5 million a year on the table.
It isn’t just Italian clubs chasing the Dutch international, though, with Barcelona, Liverpool, Manchester United and Atletico Madrid also keen on the former Feyenoord star.
