According to Voetbal International Chelsea are close to an agreement with Belgian side Moeskroen-Péruwelz to become their number one satellite club.
The club, who sit 13th in the Belgian league currently have a partnership with French club Lille, but Chelsea are in discussions to replace the Ligue 1 side as they look for an alternative to Vitesse Arnhem for their young stars.
Over the past few seasons Vitesse has been the number one destination for Chelsea’s loan deals, with Wallace, Josh McEachran and Bertrand Traore currently residing in Anhem. However Chelsea bosses are said to be unhappy with the development of players in the Dutch Eredivisie, and could end their relationship with Vitesse.
This would be a blow for Vitesse, who do not have many resources due to the financial fair play rules, and were looking to seal a number of loan deals from the London club this summer.
Vitesse scouts have identified a number of targets that they wanted to discuss with Chelsea, including Dutchman Nathan Ake, but if the Premier League giants decide to end their co-operation then these deals will not be possible.
