Alexander Isak provided a goal and assist as Willem II defeated PEC Zwolle 2-0 to move up to eighth spot.

The game got off to a slow start with several injury interruptions before Willem II took the lead in the 38th minute. Isak crossed for Damil Dankerlui to fire in from close range.

With fifteen minutes left, Willem II sealed their victory with Isak finding the bottom corner to net for the seventh consecutive game.

Isak should have scored his second in extra-time but his penalty was saved by Mickey van der Hart.

The win lifts Willem II above Groningen into eighth spot which will be enough for a European playoff spot should the Tilburg side lose the KNVB Cup final to Ajax. PEC Zwolle are 12th.
