PSV shocked the Premier League side 2-1 in the reverse fixture earlier this season and head into the penultimate group B game only one point behind leaders Manchester United.
Former PSV and Manchester United centre back Jaap Stam has told NOS that he believes the Dutch side have a good chance of coming out on top at Old Trafford.
Stam said, ”PSV definitely have a chance tonight”.
“They showed they had enough quality to win the game in Eindhoven. We have also seen Manchester United in recent seasons in the Premier League and it is a good team but it is not a team that is overflowing with quality in the case that they dominate every team they play”.
”Manchester United have a lot of money but I do not know what their transfer policy is and what type of players they want and what type of formations they want the players to play in”.
”These PSV players are also used to playing in full stadiums on big occasions so they must dare to play football with a certain amount of aggression and then they can get a result at Old Trafford”.
