The 58-year-old’s contract with PEC Zwolle expires at the end of this season and he has decided not to renew it.
Jans told the club’s official site, “From the outset, I have had a blast in my time in Zwolle.
“We have written history together and I think it was wonderful to be part of that. Still, I have decided to leave this summer at the club. Simply because I wonder, to what by that time comes my way.”
Jans took charge of PEC Zwolle in 2013, winning the KNVB Cup in his first season after a 5-1 win over Ajax, and finishing runner-up in the competition the year after. In the league, Jans has led the club to 13th, 6th and then 8th place, but this season the club are struggling and currently sit 16th with only three wins in 17 games.
