De Jong has indicated that he is ready to leave PSV should he get an offer he can’t refuse. Mexican side Club América is interested, but have so far not convinced the striker to join.

According to Eindhoven Dagblad, should De Jong depart, PSV will turn their attention to Tottenham’s Dutch forward Vincent Janssen. However, a move would only happen if Tottenham lowers their asking price. The forward has failed to live up to expectations since his move to London, but Spurs still want to recoup the €20 million paid to AZ Alkmaar in 2016.

PSV are still hopeful of signing Marco van Ginkel from Chelsea, but can’t meet the €11 million asking price at the moment. Talks are currently not on between the two clubs.

Hirving Lozano and Steven Bergwijn could be on their way out of the Philips Stadion but only if PSV get big money bids.
