Anco Jansen scored a lovely winning goal as Emmen defeated ADO Den Haag 3-2.

ADO Den Haag were without Tom Beugelsdijk in defence and Emmen took advantage in the opening 25 minutes to race into a 2-0 lead.

Firstly on six minutes, Alexander Bannink capitalised on a misunderstanding in the visitors back four before firing Emmen ahead. Then in the 24th minute, Dion Malone lost the ball on the ADO backline and Sven Braken fired in a second.

ADO Den Haag were poor but in the second half they mounted a comeback. In the 72nd minute, John Goossens rifled the ball into the net from the edge of the area before Tomas Necid headed in an equaliser.

The game was heading for a draw but then Anco Jansen found the net with a stunning strike from distance to seal a win for Emmen.

Emmen are now 14th in the title, while ADO are one spot above them.
