Van den Brom said, ”There is never really any extra pressure in terms of upcoming games whether that be in the league, Europe or the cup.

”Tonight we are playing at home against Cambuur Leeuwarden. We know about them and have studied their matches. They will not be a surprise to us. From our point of view we must reach the final.

He also spoke about AZ Alkmaar goalkeeper Tim Krul, ”I have no regrets that he has come to our club and I am happy that he is here. It was a conscious decision to bring him to Alkmaar albeit on the last day of the transfer window.

”You also have to remember that from the 6 games that Tim Krul has played 4 of them have been big games and in those game we have struggled collectively as a team.”
