Out of favour striker Bjorn Johnsen has departed AZ Alkmaar to join South Korean side Ulsan Hyundai.

After making a big impression with ADO Den Haag, Johnsen signed for AZ Alkmaar in 2018. However, he did not make an impression in Alkmaar, and was sent to Rosenborg for the last six months on loan.

Johnsen has now departed AZ on a permanent basis to sign a lucrative contract with South Korean side Ulsan Hyundai.

A fee of around €1 million has been paid to AZ, while Johnsen has signed a three-year contract.
