With the transfer window now shut, Jol believes he has done all he can in the technical heart role.
Jol said on the club’s website, “I think we’ve done everything we can to get ADO on track.
“With the arrival of Nasser (El Khayati), the selection has been completed and my technical work is done. It is an appropriate time to retire as head of the Technical Heart, also because the club now has all the time to look for a technical manager. My focus is now broader, but of course, I remain available to assist Mohammed and Ruud with advice and action where necessary. Because it goes without saying that ADO is and will remain my club, even though I am now going to follow the performances at a bit more of a distance.”
General director Mohammed Hamdi and trainer Ruud Brood will take care of the technical matters at ADO for the time being until a new technical manager is found.
