According to Sky Italia reported Gianluca Di Marzio, scouts from the Serie A champions were present during PSV’ s 3-1 win over Roda JC at the weekend to watch Bruma and Locadia.
They will have been impressed by what they saw as both player’s ended up on the scoresheet during the match, but it remains to be seen whether Juventus firm up their interest in the summer.
Bruma joined PSV last summer from Chelsea, after four unsuccessful years in England, but the 22-year-olds performances in Eindhoven have put him back in the fold with the Dutch national team.
Locadia is PSV’s top scorer this season with 11 goals in 26 Eredivisie matches, and the 20-year-old has previously been linked with a move to Aston Villa. The striker still has a lot to learn with PSV, and a move to Juventus this early in his career may be seen as a mistake, with the club not short of world class striking talent.
No Dutch player should leave Holland until he’s at least 23 no matter how good he is. No other league will develop them better. The key years are between 18-22. If a player does not get full playing time during this time frame he may never reach his full potential.
Has Jeffrey Bruma any options to be part of the Dutch National Team at the World Cup? I prefer him better than Martins Indi, but seems that LVG will choose the Feyernoord’s couple, Vlaar and Veltman.
