Ferdi Kadioglu scored both goals as Fenerbahce defeated Goztepe 2-1.

The Netherlands U21 international was handed a start for Fenerbahce on Saturday evening and he repaid Tahir Karapinir’s faith by leading his side to victory.

Kadioglu netted the opener in the 25th minute, before he doubled the lead in first half injury time with a fine solo dribble and finish into the corner.

Goztepe pulled one back early in the second half before Kadioglu was forced off with an injury in the 77th minute. Fenerbahce managed to hold onto their victory and that keeps their hopes of a top-four finish alive.

Kadioglu now has four goals and three assists in nineteen Super Lig appearances this season.
