Hertha Berlin forward Salomon Kalou is hoping for a return to Feyenoord before his career ends.

kalou-herthaThe forward spent three years in Rotterdam, scoring 42 goals in 82 appearances for the club before joining Chelsea for €6 million in 2006.

Kalou is now with Bundesliga side Hertha Berlin and the 31-year-old is set to sign a new contract with the club. However, Kalou does not see Berlin as his final destination and is dreaming of a return to Feyenoord one day.

He told Deutschen Welle, “I feel fit and think I have a lot of good football in front of me for years. My dream is to end my career at Feyenoord. The club is in my heart, because everything began for me there. Because of Feyenoord I’m the player and person I am now.”
