Dordrecht v RKC Waalwijk

Dordrecht, who have occupied last place for the majority of the season, finally moved up a place thanks to a solid draw in Almere. They face a Waalwijk side who have won their last two without conceding, so another positive result here could be a big ask. Saying that, they are at home and that advantage could be crucial here. 1-2

TOP Oss v Roda JC

Oss are on the divisions longest winning streak now Den Bosch crazy run has come to an end. Five wins on the bounce against the likes of Go Ahead, Almere and NEC have seen them rise to fourth place just two points from the top. A similar run of form from what they had at the beginning of the season. Seven goals in five for Huseyin Dogan means he’s now the leagues top scorer. 2-0

FC Twente v Jong Ajax

Twente returned to winning ways on Monday in Alkmaar despite another awful showing. They are lucky to still be within three points of Go Ahead in first, but performances will need to improve if they want any chance of returning to the Eredivisie at the first attempt. Jong Ajax lost to MVV at home last week which sends them even further down the table. This will be an interesting one to say the least. This game will be shown live on Fox Sports NL. 1-0

Helmond Sport v Sparta Rotterdam

The home side have fallen to the bottom for the first time this season despite still not picking up a victory. That victory doesn’t seem to be getting any closer since they face a Sparta side who are 14 games unbeaten. Beyond that, it looks just as difficult with trips to Deventer and Oss. Sparta will expect nothing but a win. This game will be shown live on Fox Sports NL. 0-2 | Sparta to Win

MVV Maastricht v Jong AZ

Back to back wins for MVV sees them regain some ground back to in and around mid table. They will expect a third to come fairly easily as Jong AZ have lost their last four matches. A win for the home side could see them rise as high as seventh, which would put them in good stead for the upcoming winter break. 1-0 | MVV Clean Sheet

NEC Nijmegen v Volendam

NEC’s dismal season turned even worse last week with another defeat. Their aim would’ve been for a top three finish, however that now seems like a dream. A play off spot is much more realistic for them now and things must change quickly or else they’ll be out of time. This won’t be an easy one as Volendam have won four of their last five, meaning they are right on their tails coming here. 2-2

Cambuur v FC Eindhoven

Cambuur managed to end Den Bosch’s eight game winning run last week and they have the chance to move up a couple of places with a win here. Eindhoven have managed to steer themselves clear of the bottom pack with wins over Helmond and Dordrecht. This is a hard one to predict but I think the home advantage will lead Cambuur to vicory. 2-1

Telstar v Almere City

Back to back defeats for Telstar doesn’t give them much of a confidence boost here against a strong Almere side who are still hanging around in the top six despite a drop of form in recent weeks. The away side have picked up a red card in two of their last three games which has proven costly, so anything but a win here is going to see them drift further from the top. 1-3 | Over 2.5 Goals

Monday 3rd December (19:00 GMT)

Jong Utrecht v Den Bosch

Eight games is where Den Bosch’s winning run had to come to an end. It was a brilliant run of form to say the least. However, they are still nine unbeaten and sit joint top of the league so they’ll be hoping for a win here. Jong Utrecht have lost five of their last six so I give them very little chance of coming away with anything here. 0-2

Jong PSV v Go Ahead Eagles

To round off the week the Eerste Divisie’s two highest scoring teams go head to head in Eindhoven. 58 goals have been scored between them so far this season, so you’d be wrong if you thought this wasn’t going to be goalless. Jong PSV have been playing well recently so Go Ahead won’t find this easy. The league leaders have lost a couple of games recently and I’m going to predict another one here. This game will be shown live on Fox Sports NL. 3-2 | Both Teams To Score
