The 20-year-old joins the Eredivisie champions as a replacement for Rick Karsdorp, who joined Roma last week. The former Vitesse Arnhem star has stated it was a dream for him to join Feyenoord.
Diks said, ”I was a Feyenoord fan when I was a kid and this is a dream club for me. I will be battling with Bart Nieuwkoop for the right-back slot on in the first team.
”I am full of confidence and to play for the reigning champions here in the Netherlands and to play in the Champions League for the first time is a dream come true.
”It will be strange playing against Vitesse Arnhem in the Johan Cruyff Schaal. I gew up at Vitesse Arnhem and first made my name with the club and also winning the KNVB cup with them last season.
”I only have respect for what Vitesse Arnhem has done for me. Peter Bosz game me my chance there and I will never forget that.”
