The 23-year-old has been linked with a move to the Italian club for a year, and reports in Italy have claimed that Napoli have almost wrapped up the signing of Klaassen.
However, speaking to De Telegraaf Klaassen squashed the rumours and stated he will remain in Amsterdam.
He said, “The Napoli talk is nonsense,”
“I’ll continue to play here, unless the club come to tell me something different. But I have no doubts.”
Klaassen also reacted to the news that Peter Bosz is the new coach of Ajax. He believes its a good choice, “I think it’s a good choice.
“He has shown he wants to play offensive, dominant and attractive football. His idea is to entertain the public, he is a trainer that fits with Ajax. The vision of Bosz matches that of Cruyff, so that’s okay. “
