Davy Klaassen scored his first goal for Werder Bremen to hand them a 3-2 win at Augsburg.

Werder Bremen were comfortably leading 2-0 after 36 minutes but Augsburg, who had Jeffrey Gouweleeuw in their defence, made a comeback and were level two minutes into the second half.

With 15 minutes to go, Davy Klaassen made himself the hero for Werder Bremen, tapping into the net after an error by goalkeeper Fabian Giefer, to give his side the victory.

Elsewhere, Javairo Dilrosun provided two assists as Hertha Berlin defeated Borussia Monchengladbach 4-2, while Wout Weghorst’s assist wasn’t enough to prevent Wolfsburg from losing 3-1 at Freiburg. Virgil Misidjan played 73 minutes as Nurnberg beat Hannover 96 2-0, while Joshua Brenet made his Bundesliga debut as Hoffenheim drew 1-1 with Borussia Dortmund.
