The BBC reported on Monday that Everton were open to selling the Dutchman, who joined from Ajax for €27 million in the summer.
However, speaking to AD, Klaassen’s agent Søren Lerby said on the reports, “But I have not heard anything about it from the club management.
“Of course Davy is not satisfied with his role. But he wants to fight for his chance.”
Klaassen was signed by Ronald Koeman, but since Sam Allardyce took charge, the Dutchman has barely had a chance to prove himself. He wasn’t even on the bench for the weekends FA Cup defeat to Liverpool.
The 24-year-old, who signed a five-year contract in the summer, has made four appearances in the Premier League this season.
