Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp praised Ki-Jana Hoever and Sepp van den Berg after their 6-0 friendly win over Blackburn on Thursday.

In the run up to the Premier League returning next week, Liverpool eased to a friendly win over Blackburn Rovers, with Hoever and van den Berg both featuring.

After the game, Klopp told the club’s website, “They’ve all done well. We can teach the boys a lot, but they also have to bring a lot.”

Hoever appeared from the bench and got praise, “Ki-Jana, midfielder and right back, did really well.”

On Van den Berg the German added, “It is always difficult for Sepp van den Berg as a central defender. We have four of them, so he doesn’t need to play much. But he shows promising things during the training.”
