Roma winger Justin Kluivert and Ajax defender Matthijs de Ligt are still in the running to win the Golden Boy award after the final shortlist was announced on Thursday.

Italian newspaper Tuttosport, who run the award, announced the final 20 names that are in the running for the prestigious award and De Ligt and Kluivert were both included.

Tuttosport are also reporting that the Dutch duo are among the favourites to lift the prize and become the first Dutchman to win it since Rafael van der Vaart in 2003. However, Kylian Mbappe is on the shortlist and is the front-runner.

The final 20 names are:
