Fernandez’s contract expires in mid-2018 and can not count on a renewal after some criticism of his performance as director, especially during the summer.

According to AS, Kluivert is on the list of possible replacements for Fernandez, but the former Barcelona and Ajax striker also has offers from England.

Kluivert was previously sporting director of PSG but was replaced after a year in the role, with his successor Antero Henrique responsible for the deals to bring Neymar and Kylian Mbappe to Paris.
